A Brief History
Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Clinton was always ready for the stage. Starting off in church plays and singing at revivals, he knew his way around a microphone early on. From the small congregation he moved onto popular musicals acting and singing and always having the time of his life! His passion was always country music and dreams came true for him when he began being booked all over Kentucky at Jamborees, Churches, and his favorite… Nursing Homes! He loved to share his music with others and continually strived to make people smile. This principle is still his strong point today!
Clinton’s Music
As a singer/songwriter Clinton draws inspiration from his day to day experiences. Now a college student, balancing a heavy load of school work and constantly working on his music, the stage is a refuge and he feels free under a spotlight. He loves to be around other musicians and to learn new things. His repertoire consists of anything from Hank Williams Sr. to Contemporary Christian music, he loves to sing the classics and wants them to survive through out the constant changes of time.
Experience & Accomplishments
Clinton sings almost daily at local Nursing Facilities, loving the chance to be close to his audience and the joy it gives them and himself. During the Weekend, he is booked at Jamborees and Opry Houses across Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, and Ohio where he strives to do his best and make the audience forget about their troubles and simply get lost in the music for a while! As a member of the North American Country Music Association, Clinton was awarded Male Vocalist of the year 2004-2006 and had amazing experiences meeting legends of the industry including; Bill Anderson, Stonewall Jackson, and Jim Ed Brown. In 2007, Clinton had the wonderful opportunity to open for his idol, Gene Watson at the renown Renfro Valley Entertainment Center in Renfro Valley Kentucky. Since that amazing experience, he has had the honor of sharing the stage with Darryl Worley, Tracy Byrd, T. Grahm Brown, and many others! Clinton performs annually at the Kentucky State Fair, is a musical ambassador for the Alzheimer's Association, and looks forward to sharing his time and talent towards a good cause!
Clinton’s Outlook
With his talent, Clinton hopes to reach as many ears as possible, and to learn as much as he can. He would like to share his music with the world, and knows that the first step is to have a firm foundation. He is in school now to become an English Teacher, while music is in his heart and he will always sing, he has this dream also to carry him. He prays that music will lead him where he is meant to go, and to touch the heart of those he comes across. "If a song stirs an emotion, it has done its job." says Clinton.
